APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) - Officials with an Appleton-based record label and entertainment company say they are in desperate need of donations for their "Mission We Hear You" charitable chapter. According to a release from Inner City Sound LLC (ICS), the record label and entertainment company first founded "Mission We Hear You" in 2021 to serve as an emergency cold weather response team that helps to give winter gear to the homeless and housing insecure people throughout Wisconsin. Where to stay warm: Warming shelters open during extreme cold across northeast Wisconsin ICS officials say they are desperately appealing to the public for more donations of coats and winter gear as the organization has completely run out and is facing overwhelming demands. They also add that, statistically, 400 people have lost their lives in the Midwest to hypothermia over the last few years making it important that they get the public assistance they need. Those who are able to help with the requested donations that get delivered hand to hand to those who need them can donate in the following several ways: Appleton Public Donation Drop-Off Location: Located at Esther/Mountain of Hope on 116 East Wisconsin Avenue, the public can drop off donations inside the building's lobby from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Green Bay Drop-Off Location: Located at the Soul Purpose store inside the Kohl's wing of the Bay Park Square Mall, the public can drop off donations during regular mall hours.
