WASHINGTON – Immediately after President Trump was sworn in. Several lawsuits were filed against the so-called– “DOGE”– or–“Department of Government Efficiency.” The lawsuits claim the panel– led by Elon Musk– to eliminate government waste– is violating federal laws– including the Federal Advisory Committee Act. The law demands that committees formed to advise the President– or a federal agency– must have transparency and ideological balance. But supporters say ‘DOGE’ is not an official Federal Advisory Panel– and that Musk is acting on his own.
