NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – TriCounty Link, which provides transportation services to rural residents, will not provide services Wednesday due to winter weather conditions. Ice, sleet, and snow are forecast for the Charleston area Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, creating hazardous travel conditions. The Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Council of Governments said that the service will continue its normal operation Tuesday but the service will not be provided Wednesday. The TriCounty Link system uses nine regular fixed routes and six commuter routes with services for rural residents in Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester counties.
