Update: Cold weather advisory affecting New York until Wednesday midday

The National Weather Service issued an updated cold weather advisory at 2:55 a.m. on Tuesday in effect until Wednesday at noon for Oneida, Seneca, Cayuga, Onondaga, Tompkins, Madison and Cortland counties.“Very cold wind chills of 15 to 24 below expected,” says the weather service. “The coldest period during this cold weather outbreak will be Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.”
