COLUMBIA SC (WOLO) – I think we get some light snow around the majority of the Midlands, a little less in the upper areas of Newberry, a little more as we go east, with a mix of sleet and freezing rain as we get closer to the coast, as the “warm” ocean water tends to add more wet moisture than snow in the mix. Either way, this is going to be a a quick event, lasting likely until Midnight or before. The good news is with it so cold, it should be more snow than ice – AGAIN for a lot of us – If you are out, be careful, and keep in mind, snow is easier to negotiate than ice.
