(KRON) -- The suspect in a fatal hit-and-run crash in Mountain View Sunday was arrested and booked, according to the Mountain View Police Department. Officers were dispatched at 7:15 a.m. to a pedestrian hit and run at the intersection of Amphitheater Parkway and Joaquin Road. Arriving at the scene, officers found a pedestrian in the roadway with severe injuries. Officers administered first aid until City of Mountain View Fire Department personnel arrived. Waymo rear-ended by speeding car in SF, 8 victims in fatal multi-vehicle crash The victim was taken to a hospital where they died of their injuries. Police were able to locate the fleeing vehicle involved a short distance away. The driver was identified as 42-year-old Erick Barrios of Campbell. He was booked into Santa Clara Main Jail and charged with murder, felony hit and run, driving under the influence, and an outstanding warrant.
