He said the thief took everything from iPads and liquor to towels and merchandise. "He just went systematically through the restaurant and kind of cleaned us out," said Elliot. He said they were able to track one of the electronics abandoned in a parking lot near Expo New Mexico. He believes the suspect hopped the fence and came in the door, noting all the doors were locked after the break-in. "So, the perpetrator had a key to the restaurant and I don't know how he ended up with that," said Elliot. "It's been rough...we've had windows broken, we've had vandalism but this is on a-whole-nother level" The Albuquerque Police Department arrested Jason Rojas after getting a call for a suspicious person in that area. According to the criminal complaint filed by APD, Farmacy had surveillance video only of a man, matching Rojas, locking the business' door. The complaint states that Rojas told police he found the keys in the area of the restaurant and only locked the door but never went inside. He is facing a number of charges including criminal trespassing. Meanwhile, a bright spot among the break-in is the staff and community. "The staff kind of rallies together. and they have the Farmacy in their best interest too," said Elliot. One employee also noted that guests were tipping extra generously on Monday. Additionally, community members quickly raised money for the business on GoFundMe. "Anytime we've run into these major issues the community has always rallied behind us and it's really humbling," said Elliot.
