Mandeville man arrested in connection with attempted murder investigation

MANDEVILLE, La. (WGNO) — A Mandeville man has been arrested in connection with an attempted murder investigation.
Arrest made in fatal December St. John Parish crash involving bicyclist
On Thursday, Jan. 16, the Mandeville Police Department reported that officers responded to the 3300 block of John W. Moore Avenue for a medical call around 7:10 a.m., where they found a woman with a gunshot wound to her chest.
The woman was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Mandeville police said officers arrested Jimmie Martin following an investigation. Martin faces charges of attempted second-degree murder and sexual battery.
