Trump on your swearing in as the 47th President of the United States." Representative Sharice Davids issued a statement following the inauguration: "Kansans know I will work with anyone when it's good for our state, and that includes the newly inaugurated President Trump. While I've often disagreed with him, we've found common ground when it benefits local communities, and I'm confident that will continue. At the same time, I won't hesitate to stand up to extreme policies that harm hard-working families, from attacks on reproductive rights to threats to Social Security and affordable health care. My focus is on uniting across party lines and making lives better for Kansas families by driving down costs and creating good-paying jobs.
