COVENTRY, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) - The Vermont State Police are assisting federal authorities after a shooting involving a Border Patrol agent. They said it happened around 3:15 p.m. Monday on Interstate 91. The FBI is leading the investigation. The interstate was closed in both directions as law enforcement investigated the shooting. The northbound side of the highway has since reopened. I-91 southbound remains closed. Drivers should seek alternate routes.
