A woman was arrested Thursday after Hartford police say she stole a vehicle, crashed it on Interstate 91, and then fled the scene. Facebook photo This story was first published in The Valley News on Jan. 20HARTFORD — A “male individual” died from his injuries after being shot in Hartford on Sunday afternoon, according to a Monday police news release. The victim was suffering from “an apparent gunshot wound to the head” when the Hartford police and fire departments responded to reports of a shooting in the 200 Block of Fairbanks Turn at about 2 p.m. Sunday, the release said.The Hartford Fire Department transported him to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, but he later succumbed to his injuries.The release did not include details about the victim’s age or identity and said, “No additional details are available at this time.”Preliminary investigations indicate the incident is isolated and all parties involved were known to each other.The investigation is ongoing and those with information about the incident are encouraged to contact the Hartford Police Department at 802-295-9425.Read the story on VTDigger here: Police: ‘Male individual’ dies from injuries following shooting in Hartford.
