Find Support: Navigating hard times for Wisconsin's LGBTQIA+ and immigrants under the new administration
Jan 20, 2025
(WFRV) - The recent inauguration of Donald Trump will potentially make life harder for LGBTQIA+ people and immigrants not only in Wisconsin but across the United States within the next four years.
Many in those communities are anxious and scared about possible changes to their rights and safety. This tough situation can lead to feelings of loneliness and fear of discrimination, ultimately affecting mental health.
President Trump has repeatedly pledged to roll back the rights of immigrants and the transgender community during his campaign. Also, he still promises to roll back DEI programs.
Former Planned Parenthood president, women’s rights activist Cecile Richards has died at 67
