BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- A woman is dead after a single vehicle crash in the area of Old River Road and White Lane early Saturday morning. Officers were dispatched to the area around 3:46 a.m. for a crash. Upon officer arrival, a black Ford SUV was found in the roadway. Sunny and mild temps for MLK Jr. Day, showers on the horizon A preliminary investigation showed the Ford was traveling on southbound Old River Road when it veered from the roadway and struck a tree in the median.
