HANFORD, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – CHP says two drivers were killed in a crash involving a Ford Ranger and Honda Civic on Highway 41 near Lemoore, Sunday night.
Officers say both men were not wearing seatbelts and were ejected from their vehicles.
Investigators from the California Highway Patrol (CHP) report that the driver in the Honda Civic was traveling eastbound on Lacey Boulevard when he failed to yield at the intersection. As a result, the Civic entered the intersection directly in the path of the Ford Ranger. The front of the Ford Ranger collided with the passenger side of the Civic.
After the collision, CHP says both vehicles veered off the road in a north-easterly direction and overturned.
Both drivers were ejected from their vehicles and died at the scene.
