HOLTON (KSNT) - Stormont Vail Health is partnering with a local community hospital to launch a new endocrinology clinic.
Taylor Bugg with Stormont Vail Health announced in a press release on Monday, Jan. 20 that a new endocrinology outreach clinic will be opening in Holton on Jan. 25. This is through a partnership between Stormont Vail Health and the Holton Community Hospital.
Bailey Cole, an advanced practice registered nurse, will lead the clinic and provide specialized care to local patients with endocrine disorders. She is looking forward to treating conditions like diabetes, thyroid disorders and more.
“My biggest goal is to support the patient while guiding them to a healthier and more comfortable life,” Cole said. “I want a collaborative approach to improve your life by meeting your endocrinology needs."
Cole earned a doctoral degree from Washburn University in 2020 and has previously served as an emergency room nurse. She began her career as a nurse practitioner, spending time helping people with diabetes manage their blood sugars while at the hospital.
