Waking Up To A Winter Wonderland!
Jan 20, 2025
Happy Monday, happy Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and happy snow day to all of you!
As expected, the majority of us are waking up to snowfall totals between 2-4″, with a few higher totals in parts of Bristol County (MA), and northern Providence County.
Hopefully you get a chance to go outside and enjoy a little fun in our winter wonderland today! That said, if you’re heading out, just know high temperatures are only getting into the mid 20s today, and with the wind, it’ll feel like the teens.
This is just the tip of the temperature iceberg though, as our Arctic blast really takes hold of the numbers over the next two days. Tomorrow, we wake up to lows in the single digits, and with the wind, it’ll feel like we’re below zero at times.
Highs on Tuesday will be right around 20 degrees, but feel like they’re in the teens and even single digits at times. We’ll see a mix of clouds and sun. Just a note as well that we’re watching a storm to our south Tuesday night/Wednesday morning that currently looks like it’ll stay out of our hair. That said, a flurry or two aren’t out of the question here.
Wednesday morning will be just as rough, if not more so than Tuesday morning. Once again, lows are in the single digits and wind chill values are below zero. Wednesday’s highs are in the upper teens and low 20s.
