WEATHER ALERT: The snow has ended but roads will be icy/messy this morning. In addition, it will be quite frigid with wind chills in the single digits for most of the day. Below zero wind chills are expected late tonight and early Tuesday. Good morning! I hope you had a nice weekend. Generally, 2-5" of snow fell across the region...a bit less along the immediate coastline, a bit more in northern Bristol County in Massachusetts and Providence County in Rhode Island. Frigid air is ahead for much of the week. Here's a look at what fell in our area.... Officially for the Providence area, we got 2.0" of snow, bringing the seasonal snow total to 5.0", three times less than what we would see on average to date. As a result of the wind/cold, it'll feel like it's in the single digits for much of the day. Bundle up the kids if they're headed out to play in the snow. Hour by Hour // A close look at the upcoming conditions » Mid-day highs will be in the mid 20s, but falling into the teens through the evening. | | BEACH AND BOATING FORECASTS TONIGHT Very cold night ahead with the freshly fallen snow in place. Overnight lows will be in the single digits for most locations. With a bit of wind, it'll feel like it's below zero, at times. TOMORROW Below-zero wind chills to start our Tuesday. There won't be much of a warm up through the day. Highs will be around 20 with a blend of sun and clouds.
