Snowfall could be coming in Hampton Roads and OBX

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) -- Could it snow this week? Meteorologist Jeremy Wheeler said it's possible, but don't get your hopes up too quick.

Models showing that the Outer Banks of North Carolina and some lower parts of Virginia's Eastern Shore could see some snow as early as Monday night. WAVY's Super Doppler 10 Future Trak had the snow potentially all the way into the Peninsula, Mobjack Bay and the lower Eastern Shore.
Tuesday into Wednesday could also see some snow in parts of the region. Starting on Tuesday night Hampton Roads is covered in a large swath of potential snowfall.
The snowfall could continue into Wednesday morning.
The GFS and Euro models have the lightest amounts at time of publication. Here are four of the models.
