RTA services canceled for Tuesday citing incoming freezing weather

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — All services with the Regional Transit Authority will be suspended ahead of the incoming winter weather.
On Monday, Jan. 20, RTA officials announced that all modes of transportation including bus and streetcar services will halt on Tuesday, Jan. 21 due to the expected freezing weather.

Services will operate under a normal schedule on Monday until 11 p.m. Ferry services will end at 8:45 p.m.
"The safety of our riders and operators is RTA's top priority. Riders are encouraged to plan their travel accordingly and stay updated on when service will resume," said RTA officials.
When services will resume has not yet been announced.
