ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Bills culminated their penultimate schedule of games at Highmark Stadium with a 27-25 triumph against the Ravens in Sunday night's divisional playoff game. Going 10-0 at home, including the postseason, for the second time in team history, the Bills became the 13th NFL team with that perfect record. No team has ever won 11 home games in the same season. "Finishing 10-0 at home this year, just incredible man," coach Sean McDermott said. "To again the environment that we, that our fans build here, every Sunday, it's not like that around the NFL., and we don't take that for granted." Thad Brown: Little things pile up to big Bills win The last time the Bills went 10-0 at what was then called Rich Stadium came during the 1990 season making their first Super Bowl appearance. Buffalo will now play at Kansas City on Sunday night in the AFC championship game for a chance to return to the Super Bowl for the first time in 31 years. McDermott took the occasion of Sunday night's home finale victory to respond to a Baltimore media personality who last week reprised his critique from three years ago that Buffalo was "a city of losers." "It's a city of winners, it really is," McDermott said. "It's a city of winners. These people, and this town, are winners. And I've been here just eight years, but I consider this my hometown. This place is different and the people here are different. They deserve more than whoever said that about them." Sean McDermott has the Bills headed back to the AFC championship game.
