BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- An outage impacted more than 4,000 PG&E customers Monday morning, but most had power restored within an hour, according to the utility's website.
An outage impacting 4,355 customers was reported at about 7:40 a.m., according to PG&E. By 8:50 a.m., all but 974 had power back.

The utility initially said more than 5,000 customers were affected.
A map showing the affected areas indicated power was out to customers south of White Lane past Taft Highway, from Old River Road east to Ashe Road, and stretching further east past Stine Road in areas south of Taft Highway.
