This advisory continues as temps will remain well below freezing, and normal for this time of the year. Overnight lows will dip to near zero or below the next couple of nights, and wind chills could range from -5° to -15° at times overnight into the morning hours. The latest high resolution forecast models continue to support the chilly forecast expected for our area. Even though the sun is helping to make it feel not as terrible right now, wind chills are still below zero this afternoon. Tonight, expect temps to dip to similar readings as Monday morning, in the lower single digits to near zero in much of our area. The only thing that may work in our favor is an increase of clouds overnight. However, the damage might be done before the clouds arrive, as we do not have far to drop off afternoon highs today.
