PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr day, Rhode Island Governor Dan McKee will be participating in two events to honor the civil rights activist. Monday morning in Cranston, Governor McKee will deliver remarks at the ministers alliance of Rhode Island’s 41st Annual Dr Martin Luther King, Jr Scholarship Breakfast. That will take place at 8 a.m. And at 4 p.m., Governor McKee will deliver remarks at the Martin Luther King, Jr state holiday commission’s annual celebration.
