Bitter cold with dangerous wind chills remaining through Wednesday!
Jan 20, 2025
Harsh and bitter to start our Monday morning! This MLK Day will bring a bright sunrise but dangerous wind chills, if outside for too long and not properly dressed! Morning readings will hold around -1° with wind chills hovering between -10° to -25° at times. This is the reason why the Cold Weather Advisory remains in effect!
Bright sunshine will be with us all day but so will be a southwesterly wind at 10-15 mph. This will keep wind chills below zero the next 24+ hours, as highs only reach 11° this afternoon.
More dangerous cold on Tuesday and Wednesday morning before the pattern eases and 20° temperatures return! Next snow chances arrive on Thursday and into early Friday morning. We could reach above freezing (32°) by the weekend, both days Saturday and Sunday!
