KEWAUNEE, Wis. (WFRV) - Authorities say a Kewaunee resident is now in jail after being arrested Sunday night for his 5th OWI offense. According to a release from the Wisconsin State Patrol Fond du LAc Post, a trooper stopped a vehicle at 8:01 p.m. near Center and 5th Street for driving to the left of the center line and other moving violations. Fond du Lac Police investigate armed robbery at convenience store The trooper had the driver, 57-year-old Corey Kubsch from Kewaunee, perform a number of standardized field sobriety tests and as a result, Kubsch was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence. Officials say Kubsch was taken to the Kewaunee County Jail and a charge of OWI - 5th offense is being referred to the Kewaunee County District Attorney's Office. No other information is available at this time.
