57yearold Kewaunee man arrested for 5th OWI offense

KEWAUNEE, Wis. (WFRV) - Authorities say a Kewaunee resident is now in jail after being arrested Sunday night for his 5th OWI offense.
According to a release from the Wisconsin State Patrol Fond du LAc Post, a trooper stopped a vehicle at 8:01 p.m. near Center and 5th Street for driving to the left of the center line and other moving violations.

The trooper had the driver, 57-year-old Corey Kubsch from Kewaunee, perform a number of standardized field sobriety tests and as a result, Kubsch was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence.
Officials say Kubsch was taken to the Kewaunee County Jail and a charge of OWI - 5th offense is being referred to the Kewaunee County District Attorney's Office.
