WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- D.C police are investigating after a man was shot in Southeast on Sunday night.
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) told DC News Now that at around 5:15 p.m., officers responded to the 3300 block of 10th Place SE for a shooting.

There, they found a man who had been shot. Medics took him to the hospital for treatment.
Later, investigators determined that the shooting took place in the 3500 block of Wheeler Road.
The investigation is ongoing.
