TOPEKA (KSNT) - A local business owner has donated their one thousand dollar prize to the Helping Hands Humane Society.  Brian Dultmeier, owner of 'Roofs by Brian Dultmeier,' presented the check Sunday morning.  His five-year-old pure lab, Langlie, entered the nation wide 'Tri-Built Top Dog Calendar' contest against 1400 other dogs. She won a spot for the month of September and won a grand prize package for this achievement, including one-thousand dollars. Instead of keeping the money, her family decided to donate the winnings back to Helping Hands.  Where has the mail been since the historic winter storm? Here’s what we know "On behalf of our family, and Roofs by Brian, we'd like to present this check to help them with the animals, the food, the people that have to help," Dultmeier said. Helping Hands Humane Society says that this donation along with every donation they received is a huge help to provide medical needs and day-to-day cost of care.  For more local news, click here.
