DNR: Body of missing Indiana man pulled from Ohio River

NEWBURGH, Ind. — The Indiana Department of Natural Resources pulled the body of a missing kayaker from the Ohio River on Saturday.
According to a press release from the DNR, the body of 22-year-old Hunter Conner of Newburgh was recovered around 5:10 p.m. Central Time.
First responders were initially made aware of Conner's disappearance around 9 a.m. CT on Friday. At that time, DNR officials were told a person had gone missing in the water approximately one mile east of the Grandview boat ramp.
DNR officials believe Conner was waterfowl hunting before he disappeared. Investigators reported that Conner's kayak capsized while he was trying to retrieve a duck.
