North Carolina woman charged after law enforcement says she stabbed man with butcher knife

GRIFTON, N.C. (WNCT) -- A Grifton woman was charged after law enforcement said she stabbed a man with a butcher knife Thursday.
Deputies with the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office responded to a home on Morris Drive and found the man had been stabbed in his right arm and side of his chest.
Christen Lau, 31, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and resisting a public officer.
Lau was jailed in the Lenoir County Jail without bond. After being in court on Friday, Lau was given a $50,000 bond.
