Forsyth Park statue damaged in overnight accident

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) -- A historic statue at the south end of Forsyth Park was damaged overnight when a car was driven into it. Courtesy: Nicholas Ratigan Chatham County sheriff's officers arrested 49-year-old Edward Victor Gaylord and charged him with DUI and Driving Too Fast for Conditions. The accident happened around 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning.
