PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department said it is investigating a stabbing that occurred early Sunday morning. The department said the incident occurred on Broad Street where the victim was stabbed in the back of the right shoulder. The suspect was a person known to the victim.
