Zionsville Police Department investigating home breakin

ZIONSVILLE, Ind. — The Zionsville Police Department is investigating a home break-in that occurred on Saturday evening.
Per ZPD, officers were called to the 11000 block of Willow Springs Drive around 9:20 p.m. on a report of a residential break-in. When police arrived at the scene, they determined the break-in was not ongoing.
After they learned the break-in was not actively happening, ZPD officers began a preliminary investigation of the break-in.
ZPD did not clarify whether or not it has identified any suspects or persons of interest at this point in its investigation. The department did indicate that it is "working diligently to identify any potential leads."
In its release, ZPD did not specify what, if anything, was stolen during Saturday's home break-in.
Law enforcement is asking those with information on the break-in to call the Zionsville Police Department's non-emergency line at (317) 873-5967.
ZPD is encouraging residents in the 11000 block of Willow Springs Drive to remain vigilant and report any unusual activity while officers continue to investigate the break-in.
