BRIGHTON, Wis. (WFRV) - Two people and a dog sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash Sunday morning in southeastern Wisconsin. According to the Kansasville Fire & Rescue Department, emergency crews were dispatched around 11:30 a.m. to the intersection of County Highway JB and County Highway BD in Brighton. Northeast Wisconsin residents brace for brutal cold as temperatures plummet Upon arrival, responders found both vehicles approximately 50 feet northeast of the intersection, off the roadway. Both vehicles had extensive damage, with airbags deployed. A van with significant front-end damage remained upright, while a pickup truck was found resting on its driver’s side. Each vehicle was occupied by an adult driver and a child. All four occupants were safely removed from the vehicles. Two individuals declined medical transportation, while the other two were taken to the hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening. The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash. No further details have been released.
