HUNTINGTON COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) -- The Huntington County Coroner has identified the man who died in the crash on US 24 Friday. The coroner identified the man as 29-year-old Briar M. Strle, of Huntington, Indiana. Strle's cause of death was identified as blunt force traumatic injuries according to the press release from the Huntington County Coroner's office. One dead after two separate crashes on US 24 According to the release, Strle failed to recognize a slowing semi, causing him to crash into the semi. Strle also attempted to avoid hitting the semi, causing him to go off the roadway. Strle was pronounced dead at the scene. His manner of death was ruled as accidental. The crash continues to be under investigation by the Huntington County Sheriff’s Office F.A.C.T. and the Huntington County Coroner’s Office.
