BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — East Baton Rouge Parish Mayor-President Sid Edwards will host a press briefing to talk about the city’s comprehensive preparations for the anticipated severe weather conditions. The briefing will take place at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 19, at Baton Rouge City Hall, located at 222 St. Louis Street. Louisiana is forecasted to have extremely cold weather with heavy snow expected beginning Tuesday morning.
