AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The Austin Fire Department said Sunday that its firefighters found a dead body after extinguishing a trash fire in the area of the 700-835 block of West Ben White Boulevard. AFD said the call came in around 12:22 p.m. Sunday. An AFD shift commander said that the department's investigators are looking into the cause of the fire. The Austin Police Department is investigating the death. KXAN reached out to APD Sunday afternoon for information about the death.
