SYRACUSE – Split between two editions of last weekend’s Fred Kirschenheiter Memorial at SRC Arena, area high school indoor track and field teams would still find plenty of success. Westhill went 1-2-3 in the girls pole vault, Ava Baty winning as she topped 9 feet as Emma Murphy topped 8’6” for second place and Mallie Alt, reaching that same height, was third. Murphy won, too, claiming her title in the triple jump by going 34’1 1/2” as Baty was fifth with 33’ 1/2”. In the high jump, Dericka Trotman took second place clearing 5 feet.
