ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) -- A semi on its side blocked eastbound US 24 lanes early Sunday morning. Dispatch confirmed with WANE 15 that a semi on its side blocked both eastbound lanes of US 24 near the I-469 intersection just after 8 a.m. Sunday. The crash was cleared and the roadway was back open as of 10:30 a.m. according to INDOT Trafficwise. Dispatch also confirmed no one was injured in the crash but that the northbound I-469 ramp to eastbound US 24 was shut down as a result of the crash. Allen County Sheriff's Department sent out a 911 alert to avoid eastbound US 24 at I-469 until further notice as a result of the crash.
