Hoosier women flock to Fort Wayne for pinball state championship

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) -- Hoosier women from all over the state were in Fort Wayne Sunday to participate in the Women's State Championship for Pinball.
With the tournament kicking off at noon, Fort Wayne Pinball Wizard's World Arcade invited all players throughout the state to participate for a chance to qualify for the national level competition, representing the state of Indiana.
At the end of each calendar year, 16 players, each top-ranked over two categories, open events and women's only, are invited to participate in the IFPA Women`s North American Championship.
The winner for the state will be invited to participate in the Women's North American Championship in Portsmouth, New Hampshire in March.
