An iconic movie home has found a new owner. People Magazine reports that the famous Home Alone house in the Chicago suburbs has officially sold for $5.5 million. The five-bedroom, six-bathroom, 9,100-square-foot estate has become a beloved landmark.  It was built in 1921, and while it still retains its nostalgic charm, it doesn’t quite look the same on the inside. It has been updated with modern amenities like a gym, home theater, indoor sports court and a heated three-car garage.
