FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – One person is in life threatening condition after a shooting near downtown Friday night. Fort Wayne Police Officers (FWPD) responded to the 1400 block of Eagle Street on reports of a shooting just before 10:15p.m. An officer on scene told WANE 15 one person had been shot. The victim was taken to a local hospital in life threatening condition. Officers also told WANE 15 that there's currently no threat to the public. WANE 15 is working to learn more and will provide updates as they become available.
