Woman hospitalized after being assaulted in Rochester

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A 38-year-old woman was hospitalized Saturday night after police said she was reportedly assaulted. According to the Rochester Police Department, officers were called to the Upper Falls Square Apartments on Hudson Avenue shortly after 8 p.m.

RPD announced that the woman was found with what was described as a minor injury. She was taken to Rochester General Hospital to be treated and was listed in stable condition. She was hurt after being involved in a physical altercation, police stated.

As the investigation into what led up to the fight continues, police said no suspects have been identified at this time.
