RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The 2025 Virginia State Yo-Yo Contest was held this weekend, giving people of all ages the chance to show off their skills.
The competition was held on Saturday, Jan. 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Science Museum of Virginia, making time for people of all ages and skill levels to demonstrate their yo-yo talents.
8News spoke with Connor McCullough, a competitor in the professional division of the event, about his yo-yo journey.
"I've been yo-yoing for two years, [and] this was actually my first contest, so I'm very happy to be back and competing," McCullough said. "I love this contest it's always a good time, always lots of fun."
