MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Memphis Police are reaching out to the public for help locating suspects involved in a Midtown homicide earlier this month. On Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 11:55 p.m., Officers responded to a shooting in the 900 block of Emmie Street. Officers were told that a shooting had occurred outside of the residence and that the victim had been taken to Methodist University by a private vehicle. Teen charged with murder after ‘robbery gone wrong’ Officers later learned that the victim had arrived at the hospital and was pronounced deceased. Police obtained a video that showed three men approaching the car and speaking with the victim. Minutes later, the three men attempted to rob the victim before fatally shooting him. A fourth suspect was inside a black Nissan Maxima that fled the scene shortly after the shooting occurred. Police say that no arrests have been made but this is still an ongoing investigation.
