INDIANAPOLIS — One person was killed in a crash on the west side of Indianapolis Saturday night. Per the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the intersection of West 10th Street and North Glen Arm Road around 7:30 p.m. to investigate a crash. Soon after police arrived at the scene, they determined two vehicles had been involved in a crash. Investigators believe both drivers involved in the incident were travelling westbound on 10th Street before the crash. Eventually, both vehicles made contact with each other. After the cars made contact, one of them veered off the roadway and flipped. The driver of the car that flipped was ejected from their vehicle. The driver who was ejected died after being transported to a local hospital. A portion of West 10th Street was closed for more than two hours while IMPD investigated the crash. As of this article's publication, investigators do not believe alcohol was a factor in the crash. This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
