FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The historic Bell Mansion in Fort Wayne transformed into a scene straight out of a fantasy novel Saturday night, as it hosted the enchanting Starfall Ball. The event, inspired by the popular romance fantasy novel A Court of Thorns and Roses, promised to transport attendees into a magical world of wonder. The Bell Mansion, known for its rich history and timeless charm, provided the perfect backdrop for the evening. Guests arrived dressed in elegant gowns and elaborate fantasy costumes, stepping into a storybook brought to life. Guest were treated to a night filled with music, local vendors, and interactive experiences that added to the magic of the evening. Event coordinator Ashley Frewer shared her vision for the Starfall Ball, stating, “Our goal was to bring the pages of A Court of Thorns and Roses to life, creating a space where people could immerse themselves in the magic of the story. Seeing the joy and wonder on our guests’ faces makes all the hard work worth it.” With over 150 attendees, the event raised significant funds, as tickets were priced at $50 each. All proceeds from the Starfall Ball will go towards the upkeep of The Bell Mansion, ensuring this historic landmark continues to host community events for years to come.
