A woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash after being struck by a vehicle in a Clairemont crosswalk Friday night, San Diego police said. The woman was walking west in a crosswalk on Genesee Avenue at Mount Etna Drive about 9 p.m. when she was struck by a northbound vehicle, police said. The vehicle’s driver fled the scene, police said. The pedestrian was taken to a hospital, where she died. Her name was not released pending notification of family. Police said the make and model of the vehicle were unknown.
