PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) -- Police in Prince William County said a man died after he was ejected from a motorcycle during a crash in Manassas. The collision happened on Jan. 17 just before 3:45 p.m. on Centreville Road, near Breeden Avenue. The Prince William County Police Department (PWCPD) said their preliminary investigation revealed a woman was driving a Jeep Cherokee on Centreville Road when she tried to make a left turn. Police searching for missing 96-year-old man last seen in Seat Pleasant Police said that's when the Jeep and motorcycle collided. The impact forced the rider to separate from the bike, according to PWCPD. The motorcyclist, identified as 25-year-old Nicholas Blaze Damon of Fairfax, died at the scene. The driver of the Jeep was treated for minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation by the Crash Investigation Unit.
