What We’re Tracking
Subzero wind chills tonight
Arctic cold air to start the week
Dry over the next several days
Overnight temperatures will drop into the single digits, with wind chills ranging from -5 to 0 degrees due to north winds gusting near 20 mph. Clouds will gradually clear, allowing for more sunshine by Sunday afternoon.
However, temperatures will remain cold on Sunday, with highs struggling to reach the mid-teens. Wind chills will range from -8 to 2 degrees throughout the day. If you're planning to be outdoors, make sure to bundle up and add an extra layer for warmth.
Arctic cold air will settle in for Monday and Tuesday, bringing highs in the teens and overnight lows dropping below zero. This will be some of the coldest air of the season. Minimum wind chills during the first half of the week are expected to range from -15° to -10°.
After Tuesday, a slow warm up is in store with highs topping out into the middle to upper 30s by the end of next week. This looks to be a dry week ahead with little opportunity for any additional snow to melt.
