SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) -- Suffolk Fire & Rescue worked to extinguish a detached garage fire on Saturday afternoon. A call came in around 4:15 p.m. in reference to a detached residential garage fire in the 1600 block of Longstreet Lane. When crews arrived, they found heavy fire showing from the detached garage with no extension to the house.
